Sick is what happens when you're busy making plans...

Well, now...that did NOT go as planned.
I honestly came on here Monday and wrote this whole "I CAN DO IT!" post with all my goals...and then proceeded to get sick. *lol* I spent the next two days feeling feverish and nauseated and basically out of it. Sometimes when I'm not feeling well, I struggle wondering "Is this one of those PUSH THROUGH moments or not?" This time - there was NO question. This was a sit down and get better moment. I did basically nothing Monday, Tuesday and most of yesterday. The fever finally broke early yesterday morning and by the afternoon I was SO ready to go be active again!
We took the dogs to the riverfront and walked up and down the river a bit, then came home and I asked James if we could continue our walk a bit more without the dogs and challenge ourselves with one of the hills in town - thankfully, he agreed. So, yea...I was SO ready to be back! I even checked the weather last night, realized its supposed to storm all afternoon/evening when I would normally get in my run and WOKE UP THIS MORNING AT 4:30 AM! (Sorry, I felt that needed caps.) By 6am my four miles were completed, I felt great, I took a shower, got ready for work and left the house a little early. And here I am. Finally back in the land of the living.
I was seriously concerned for a bit. We have a string of Hep A going around WV and I was starting to freak thinking I had it and was going to die. *lol* Did I ever mention I'm a hypochondriac? Like I seriously cannot google symptoms or anything because I will automatically start feeling all the other symptoms of some horrible disease even though I KNOW I wasn't feeling them before the suggestion was given to me. I can physically make myself feel ill just by the power of suggestion, so I have to be VERY careful to positive talk when I'm sick. It doesn't help that James is a "jump to the worse conclusion" kind of person due to his past. Anyhow, I survived! I'm throwing away my leftovers from Sunday and just telling myself it was a touch of food poisoning and moving my happy butt on!
