Intermittent Fasting

My health coach (yay, Kaiser!) says I should look into intermittent fasting. It is: either
1) eating every day for only 8 hours, and fasting for no less than 16 hours (very difficult for me with my work schedule, or
2) Fasting for 24 hours one day a week (he says people do it several times a week.

I started a meltdown challenge yesterday and chose the one-day-a-week fast. I chose today! Well, how did it go?

Well, I had green tea for breakfast, diet coke for lunch, with about 80 oz. water (it was a hot one here!) and then.... I had a mike's harder lemonade (16 oz., 285 cals.) and 2 baby dills.

So, ok, I wasn't perfect. May next week, eh?

On the plus side, I only had those things to eat, and I DID mow my lawn. I'm so fat that getting the energy to do any physical activity for more than 15 minutes makes me exhausted (61 yrs., 6'1", 303.8# last weigh-in.)

So, ok, I need frequent brakes and frequent rest. I'm sitting here typing this and I feel kinda tired, but ok. But as soon as I get up, simply maintaining my frame as I walk around the house takes a bit of an effort, ya know?

Hey, at least I prepared my food for tomorrow--that's a start, yes?
