1301

Friday, May 11, 2018

1301 is the number of days I’ve consecutively logged into Spark. I meant to write this blog yesterday; alas, time crunch and a lousy memory interfered. 1301 days is a bit more than 3 1/2 years, about the last time we went on a cruise and lost internet access. emoticon

Yes, I’m a bit obsessive about spinning the wheel and logging points for my short and long term goals. However, I credit this habit, developed over the last eight years, for improving my health, more or less keeping my weight in check, and making some terrific friends. The best part of this achievement is it’s up to me to track my food, do my exercise, find some balance in my life, and be accountable to myself! Very empowering feeling. emoticon

So while I love being on teams and connecting with people who support me in my efforts, I also realize that my choices have made the biggest difference in whether or not I achieve my goals as I continue the journey. Thanks Spark, and here’s to more healthy streaks! emoticon

Great job on your streak! It's difficult. I lost mine when traveling last fall. I had no internet and couldn't sign in. I was so bummed and I couldn't share my pain at the time with other Sparkers! Only Spark Friends would understand my frustration! So I am envious of your great steak! Keep signing in!

Boy, do I agree there is more here than SP! Congrats on the long streak. You know, I began my blog streak the same way. That's how habits are formed. Good going!
