Plodding Along: Working on Goals

Since getting my new Fitbit Flex 2, I have been easily getting over 10,000 steps every day. It's been so long since I have done this. It feels good to be a little more active again; I'm not quite as sore as I've been before the steps.
I've been REALLY paying attention to the articles I've read. The new goal/habit I am working on is a gratitude journal. List three things in the morning and three at night. When writing, re-read my last entry. I just started this past weekend, so it's definitely not a habit yet. But if I can do the steps again, I can get this, too. It's starting my day on a more positive note and finishing the day with a pat on the back. Heaven knows I need this. Positive self-esteem is in short supply lately.
I feel as if my brain needs to start working more. when I go to use it, it sure is fuzzy sometimes. I suspect it may have something to do with the fact that I really don't sleep well. I need to go for a sleep study. I haven't looked into the cost because I know I don't have it right now. (Working on the budget seems to be a LONG process!)
