Who has done Whole 30 - I'm on day 35 - and a big fan.

Was in a bad place - ever been there? We all have been or we would not meet here. Just before Easter I called a buddy who suggested he wanted to get onto a program to clean up his eating. I agreed ad we joined another friend on doing the Whole 30.
Whole 30 is a very strict dietary plan - that helped me eat enough at each meal to avoid my snacking obsession. And it eliminates processed foods from your diet - and sugars and alcohol and legumes and dairy. Sounds impossible but it was easier than I expected - and very rewarding.
I have been drinking only water for almost two years. That was a helpful part of my journey. And I love veggies and have expanded my veggie intake greatly since joining Spark 10 years ago. Also very helpful.
Whole 30 demands planning - and the planning ahead of meals - and then making them ahead of time helped me get out of old bad habits. But be sure to plan before you start this adventure.
I don't know how much weight I lost - they suggest the average is 14 pounds. You dont weigh during the program and I was afraid to weigh before. But after I have weighed in and am pleased with the results. BUT - you will feel great - better internally than I have felt in years. ONCE you get to day 10+ FIrst week is a carb hangover - manageable but noticeable. It is worth it.

Anyway - I have added 30 days based on where I want to be and how good I feel - get the book - It Starts With Food - read it. Plan your meals. And I'm happy to make suggestions and provide support if you decide to do the 30.

I have to add some O.J. to my quart of water as I just hate plain water. Also, I make a cup of coffee with one tsp of instant coffee and I add a cup of skim milk, and 2 cups of water and make "coffee water" (I hate coffee) but I get it down and have a quart of my water in for the day.
