ok. i'm back. i need to be...

funny how i made it through the entire time in molokai with intuitive eating, no tracking. i managed to get my 105,000 steps per week most weeks - and this despite the typical heavy spring workload. i managed to get through the trip home to WA with restaurant meals - all within weight range.

but one week at home, here in winthrop, and scream weight is looming. funny how bad habits creep back at you...

i know some of the reasons... work is in a final push. not enough hours in the day - have had to skip morning walks and runs. yet another week when i did not make the 15k average steps per day. and DH wants to sit outside for wine time and prolong it - and the longer we prolong, the easier it is for the snacks to slide down. even when dinner *is* ready and waiting. portions have slid out of control - and i even found myself boredom-eating yesterday. i stopped doing my videos when we got to molokai because the sleep schedule was slightly different, and until the last month we were getting all the steps in outdoors (and plenty of running). i find myself playing sudoko far too much, when i could be doing... just about anything else.

so i'm back. time to start tracking. time to add back the video. time to find motivation. time to recommit.

and it is a good time - i am about to hit the 1100 day login streak in two more days. tomorrow is my sparkiversary - may 7, 2006!! that is 12 years... though it took me to the 6 more years until i did become active and use the tools - and lose the weight once and for all and keep it off.

so i am back.
