A Few Bumpy Months...

Nothing too crazy to report really. Things were going smoothly into the start of December, and then the holiday craziness reared its head. Workouts were skipped, and habits were broken, but my eating stayed fairly on point through to the end of January. Results were mostly a loss of muscle mass, replaced by soft little pockets of fat here and there. Weight stayed the same around 190 until the end of February. As March began, I think my body reached a critical point where my muscle mass must have dropped too low, and my metabolism began to drag along. That, plus booze, equaled a spiral of weight gain, ending March around 198 and going from feeling sexy in my skin to feeling pretty flabby and bloaty. A few more pounds at the beginning of April was enough to finally kick start my engine, and I've had three solid weeks of workouts and hitting my macros, resulting in three pounds lost so far, and my face looking less bloaty. The body feels tighter and a touch slimmer, but I think it won't feel rockin' until I get back down to 190. I'm off to Cuba the last week of May, so I've got goals, baby, goals! :D
Also, it's a bummer how few people seem to use this site now like they used to five or six years ago. :*( I think I need to go try to build a new network of support here, seems too quiet.
