I had a great visit with Buddy yesterday. He got his bills with V.A. all straightened out and felt relieved. They made many clerical mistakes and sent him a bill.

He is anxious to open up his place in Oscoda, but still has arm restrictions from his surgery. He loaded up many totes with heavy things and cannot lift them to his truck. Duh! I told him to load them halfway, then carry things to the truck and put them in the totes, and to reverse the process when he unloads up north. He jumps the gun after his surgeries because he is used to just doing for himself with no limitations. I reminded him gently, that he now has to stop and think about actions before he moves. It is part of the aging process to have some things you need to revise. The body was intended to be paid attention to when it speaks.

Our sunshine left us again, it will be an overcast and rainy day, but I did get a lot of things cleaned yesterday while indoors. I even vacuumed the lampshades. Polishing, sweeping, scrubbing things.. today is more of the same while doing laundry.

We are getting excited about our Paradise vacation.. less than four months away..

My husband is like Buddy. He had an MRI which showed damage to his rotator cuff, but he continues lifting with that arm.

Yesterday, his brother that had knee replacement surgery called to have my husband haul 6 bags of clothes to a consignment shop. They took 10 things out of all 6 bags and the rest will go to The Salvation Army. Of course, my husband went running to go do their bidding and will have to haul the bags back to their house. He was told he could have half of the money, but the rules of the shop are, that they will only cut a check if the sales are so much. If you don't want the clothes back in that event, they will keep them and dispose of them. It sounds like a lot of running, on our part, for nothing.

Gas prices in Pennsylvania are over $3 a gallon and my husband will not stay home. If I knew what to disconnect on the car so it wouldn't run, I would fix it so it wouldn't run.

Buddy is lucky to have you. Hopefully he'll take to heart the thoughts on living with a different way of accomplishing things...his body would like it. 🎇

Great idea for Buddy, sometimes it seems that the old noggin just doesn't figure things out, and them some one tell you how, and it's a DUH moment. Why didn't I think of that. lol
