Leanne Vogel - Healthful Pursuit Podcasts - Keto

Alright!

Thanks to some awesome fellow Sparkers, I was directed to check out Leanne Vogel who is a very well informed Keto enthusiast along with being a certified nutritionist.

She gears her programs toward women, provides honest and real helpful information and if you’re able, you can even pay to have access to a program personalized toward you... I’m not able to go this route... but!!!

She still has lots of great free information on her website, and right now I’m really enjoying her down-to-earth podcasts!

I just finished watching my third podcast, in no particular order... going by what topic intrigues me most, and I’m learning so much.

It’s sure helping me piece some things together, this one being just the reinforcement I needed to hear in regards to my fitness journey.

So, with some sadness... I have come to realize I need to back away from the HIIT strength training challenge I’ve been doing and commit to a lower intensity and less stressful exercise program like walking until I get my body balanced out and healed again, while maintaining a modified keto lifestyle that is appropriate for me.

I’m sorry TAJONES... :(((

This decision hasn’t been an easy one.

It even goes against some of my internal programming.

But, with some wise seeds planted here and there, and my Internet research journey being led here and there, I can’t help but come to the conclusion that I am pushing myself too hard for the current state that my body is in, and I could potentially do more damage than good, or positively gain more, on so many levels of overall health by doing less.

When I say it like that, it almost feels like a no brainer.

So I am switching gears and committing to regular walking and letting my current strength challenge go. It’s just what I personally need to do at this time in my life.

So, back to the point of my original post...

Keto enthusiast or not... this is advice worth hearing.

Run yourself a bath, play the podcast, relax and absorb the key points they have to say... it just may be what you need to hear... you never know and enjoy the rest of your weekend... :)

    I love listening to her podcast! The Primal Blueprint has been talking a lot about Keto lately too, as well as Robb Wolf (The Paleo Solution Podcast). Can you do some easy strength training? I am trying to keep inflammation down too.
