Went out to breakfast. Ordered a planned egg scramble and a side salad. When the salad dressings came, there it was a little cup of salsa.
Oooo that would be good on my eggs. I really like the taste of salsa. It’s really only a few calories.
You didn’t plan on having salsa. If you want salsa you can plan to have it at the next meal.
But, but, but....
Not this time. It’s not about the calories. It’s not even about the salsa. You need to strengthen your resistance muscle not your giving in muscle. Remember, it will only taste good for a couple of minutes so it’s only a temporary pleasure. Losing weight and being slim make you FEEL good all the time.
Now I’m glad I didn’t give in and eat the salsa. I Feel Proud that I resisted. I don’t even want to plan to eat salsa with my next meal.
