Stress Awareness Month

This is our assignment for the Aspire and Inspire sparkteam: April is Stress Awareness Month. We all have stress in our lives and it’s important to find useful ways to relieve it. Describe 5 or more positive ways you can respond to the stress in your life and keep your own stress levels in check.

SparkPeople: Getting on SparkPeople can be very motivating.



Hot bath: Soaking in a hot bath is very relaxing to me.



Exercise: Exercise is a great stress reliever.



Reading: Reading a book can distract you from what is stressing you.



Meditation: Meditation can focus your mind on the present moment.



Journaling: Writing in a journal lets you express and work through your feelings.



Candles: Lighting candles is relaxing.
