Finally! The sun has come out, my eating plan is going well and I'm feeling more energised and happier. I'm definitely in summer mode as far as my SAD is concerned needing far less sleep, currently about 6 hours a night as opposed to 9 and waking early without the need for an alarm or to sleep during the day. I swear I could happily live on sunshine and not much else for these few months!
I weighed myself this morning and I'm down another 3lbs over 2 weeks and on target for 240lbs for the date I set in 4 weeks time. I also discarded a couple of pairs of jeans and a hoody as too big and now fit some jeans I was hoping to get into by this fall. Three more bags of clothes destined for the thrift store. I'm back in clothes from 3 or 4 years ago so it's a good job most of them are a classical cut.
My time with my therapist will also be gradually dwindling over the summer so I'm busy looking at my support systems and trying to improve them for when I finally let go.
Anyway, I'm off to enjoy some sunshine now and get my vitamin D fix for the day. I love spring and early summer!
