First Things First Friday and Flatbread Pizza
Friday, April 20, 2018
Went to my DD today to give the twins their birthday cards with a little money. Will celebrate with them on Monday with a lite lunch and some cake and ice cream. They are such sweethearts! They are old enough to drive, but don't want to yet. They may be trying to save their parents some money, or may be anxious about learning. Only they and God know for sure.
I was anxious to get home to make DH some lunch, but my daughter wanted me to read some of the novel she is working on. It has been a work in progress for a long time, but since the girls have gotten older she can spend some more time on it. When they were younger, she was published in a Christian magazine. Anyway, 'first things first' meant my DD needed me more than Hubby! He didn't call me and he is pretty self sufficient. Found out when I got home he was just fine.
So then we went to town and I bought some shredded cheese and some turkey pepperoni to make a flatbread pizza. It turned out good. DH really enjoyed it, too. My calories were high for supper, but still did not go over on my tracking. Wonderful!!!
Hope it turns out that well tomorrow. We have a breakfast at church. It is times like these outings that it is somewhat difficult to put the right calories in, but I do try!
Have a great weekend!
