Today is a heat wave here in Mid-Michigan. The temperature is now 52 degrees and the snow piles are still high, but we are supposed to enjoy 57 degrees over the weekend. People are wearing sleeveless tops, driving around with all of their windows rolled down, and the sky is just blue, no clouds, not high winds.
I went shopping for produce and some more spinach wraps.
This afternoon I had a dental appointment to replace a low filling. I feel pretty good in that I did not get my mouth numbed for the drilling or the filling. I just told Dr. Kais to drill slowly and if I raised my hand, he should stop. I was in and out of the chair in fifteen minutes. I like that type of appointment. No fuss, no muss.
I bought some sliced turkey for more spinach wraps. I made one for lunch, post-filling.
Steve, I have not heard from Buddy since I talked to him the last time, before we were both ill. He was going to visit his daughter Becky in Indiana, then head up to Black River to visit his friend who owns a sawmill and woodworking place. It is north of Alpena, so it is about a four hour drive. I will call him this weekend to check up on him.
