The day began with a family project called "insulate the attic".
Tim had to crawl on his belly the entire time so he was a mess of fiberglass and dust when he was finished.
I wish I had gotten a photo of him at the end all covered in pink.
And here's the ground crew.
Our job was to keep feeding the AttiCat with bundles of insulation and turn it on and off so Tim could change locations.
That was the most difficult as our plan was to use a garage door opener to indicate his need for stop/start. Difficult as he kept bumping it as he moved so we would be turning it off when he needed it on, etc. Just gave up after the first round!
Took us until about 11 a.m. to get it all done, but it is nice having the attic insulated well in the original section of the house. We will use batting in the rest.
This afternoon I just spent time catching up on Spark and watching a Christmas movie called "Christmas Mail". It was cute.
And then I found this cute picture of Maegann and Patches while I was cleaning out email.
In other news....
Isaac is fretting about youth group tonight. He is having difficulty making friends and he knows it is partly because of his autism and his "quirks". He asked me to pray with him this afternoon which was nice.
Maegann had an awesome day at school as she got a 98 on her English essay and successfully gave her speech in class for Speech class. The past two speeches she had panic attacks. Now, the main downer is that Jeffrey is acting a bit different at school and she's not sure what to think about that. He's fine on the weekends. I told her they need to talk face-to-face instead of trying to figure it out by phone call or text.
Tomorrow: Isaac is gone all morning with Meg so I will run a couple errands (bank and pharmacy) and then do paid work at home while it is quiet.
