1 month down - A lifetime to continue

Today I have completed my first month in my weight loses journey. I started this weighing in at 214 and I'm happy to say that I now weigh 199!!! I lost 15lbs in my first month!! I'm not expecting to lose another 15 this month, but I will do my best to stay on track and lose at least 2lbs a week. This month was hard. There were soooo many days that I didn't want to work out, or felt like eating junk food, or feeling like I want progressing, but then I reminded myself that every decision I make will effect my outcome. So I forced myself to workout (yes, with lots of breaks in between, but hey, I did it). I made sure to eat healthy and I focused on my end goal and why I got started to begin with. Reminding myself helps me get through those tough days. Helps me to stay focused on my task at hand. It's hard to lose sight when you don't see the end anywhere near, but I just have to remind myself that every good decision will get me that much closer to the finish line, and though I may not see it now, it's there, I just got to keep on moving forward!!! I will continue this journey for the rest of my life. I feel better, I have more energy, I'm happier, and I know if I continue, I will eventually reach my goal of 165!
