You know what is hard about losing weight?
-trying to "stick to yer guns":- (My Mom used to say that!)---DAY AFTER DAY.
And it takes a lot of talking to myself, inside my brain----
"The whiter the bread, the sooner you're dead"
I chant that to myself as a whiff of warm bread sails past my nose in the grocery.
There are rewards however----like-climbing onto the scales and the weight has dropped.
I am down another half a pound---recycled of course---which means it has been lost many times---
This is about what we look ;like right now outside--
I'm trying not to allow it to get me down-
-Positive thoughts on a Sunday, with another snow storm sitting on our doorstep, are the best way to go ---
Thoughts like wee Sushi, the cat who moved in here, bag and baggage , who might have dreams of getting on American Idol-
Perhaps this wee animal, resting-
And if I can just keep thin positive thoughts floating in my brain, come Spring, hopefully I CAN lead that orchestra---be healthy---shout it out to the world, that "health": does matter---and if I can do it, well------I WILL do this! -----
Lord love a Duck!---one more day here!
