They know something's up... besides mom, that is. Note left for their keeper. Mail stopped.
Suitcase is packed and in the hatch. I'm traveling light and if I need anything that I forgot, I'll get it there. I learned long ago that I tend to over-pack. Then I learned how to be a weekly flying commuter and live without stuff if you didn't bring it. Then I got lazy when I wasn't doing that any more. It's a cycle of learning. This time: no winter coat. I might be chilly at times. But I did bring a light running jacket: just in case.
But the most important thing is packed: the bib for Saturday.
All the electronics are in my "purse" (which I only use for traveling). As are the prescription meds (in their appropriately labeled containers). I know the stomping grounds where I'm going, so pretty much anything else can be found there! Shopping list for destination already started.
SparkPeople app is on the new phone, so, heck, I have all I need. Time to unplug and bring out a little used talent: sleeping on planes.
