Doctor says DO THIS

Tuesday, April 10, 2018

Had to go to get some prescriptions filled last week and I was telling my doctor about my weight loss struggles. Haven't done much for a year. Just going up and down. He said "GIVE UP THE BREADS and drink lots of water. " I guess I was expecting him to sugar coat things and say just keep at it. I think I will have to take his advise for a while anyways. BUT I guess I'm not alone on this journey and it is worthwhile. I AM WORTH IT. Now..... if only spring will come to Nova Scotia.

I had to give up gluten almost two years ago along with most dairy. Sometimes I have gluten free bread (which is awful unless toasted) but I mostly skip the bread altogether. After a while, you learn to not miss it.

Keep tracking your food and water and make good choices in what you eat. Your food log should tell you where adjustments need to be made. Do you use the nutrition report at the end of the food log? I find it very helpful.
