What am I doing for me? my body? my mind?

What am I doing for my body?

Every day I try to.....
--get a good night's sleep
--walk 3 or more miles (5 times a week)
--take my medication and vitamins
--drink lots of water.
--eat smaller portions of healthful foods
--include protein or healthful fat at each meal
--limit simple carbs
--eliminate caffeine, alcohol

What am I doing for my mind and attitude?

Everything listed above that I do for my body has a positive effect on my mind and attitude.

In addition to that, I try to....
--be in the moment, by keeping my mind focused on what I am doing
--spend time being grateful for all that is good in my life
--keep my self-talk positive, blocking out old negative thought habits
--spend time with people I respect, care about
--spend time in activities I enjoy
--learn something new; develop my skills
--make a contribution, help out, give back in some way

I take responsibility for all my words and deeds....

...and I approach each day as a new beginning, a fresh start.
