This saying fits the circumstances of the day.

First up was family counseling to help the dynamics of being cohesive when there is daily stress due to autism. It's not a bad thing...just a thing...and this thing has gotten a bit tougher thanks to puberty. We will meet with the counselor again on Thursday evening.

Next was the difference of having visible boyfriend/girlfriend relationship in the house. I am handling it better than Tim is though. I can handle them showing they like each other very much and I am sure it helps knowing the background that connects and has drawn them together.

Maegann and Jeffrey went and picked up the pizzas for our lunch and then movie day started. I did a few small projects before The Hobbit was on and I've been able to write the sponsor kids and now Spark while it is on. Jeff just fell asleep about 10 minutes ago so it is nice to know he feels that comfortable at our home, but it was a nightmare which comes from his childhood. (long story) It is hard to imagine what he went through ....

Before lunch I did get the 3 cupboards in the kitchen cleaned out and reorganized. Will work on the pantry tomorrow or Monday.

I lover the above saying and try to live by it. But sometimes it is so hard to do. I have to keep reminding myself of it daily.

It sounds like you have a lot to handle at home. But you seem to be doing fine. Keep up the good work.

Perhaps limit evening visits during the week. Maybe Tim will adjust if the relationship isn't in his face continually. We have never dealt with any of this yet!

It’s not always easy to let go and let things just happen.

You're correct, sometimes you just have to let life happen or it doesn't fit.

I imagine Tim isn't handling the boyfriend/girlfriend with Jeffery and Maegann because he still sees Maegann as his little girl and he wants to protect her, give her the best, and he doesn't want to lose her. Bless his heart, he loves Maegann so much and he just isn't sure how to put the pieces of this puzzle together so he can better handle it.

Yes, it's beautiful that Jeffery feels that comfortable that he can fall asleep in your home but I am not understanding the nightmare part of it.

WOW!!! You just reminded me that It's time for me to clean my pantry out and get it in order, along with my bins of spices.
