Amazing friends!

Thursday, April 05, 2018

I joined a very exciting challenge 'X-WEIGHTED #14 CHALLENGE FOR WOLF SPIRIT' SparkTeam. My new friend, Alley suggested it. I thought well why not, I can be held accountable. I nearly backed out, I read where you had to post your weight to the board for everyone to see! Mind you, my ex husband of 32 years, nor my mom, knows how much I weigh. I have been so embarrassed. Well, I thought to myself, put it out there and see if it embarrasses you enough to lose weight and complete the challenge. I have been dieting my whole life, but I have never had the support that I have received this week. I have made new SP friends, I have tried so hard not to let them down, or myself. I weighed in this morning, I have lost 5.3 lb ! I hollered out loud, "Thank you Jesus!" Why did it work this week and not last week? I committed myself so I didn't let anyone on my team down, including me. And second, the support that I received from my team and both of the other teams! We were all cheering on each other. I didn't feel like I was alone in the fight. Alley, thank you for bringing me to this challenge and especially to a wonderful group of supportive people on Wolf spirit team! And thanks to the other two teams as well. You are all amazing!! It is an 8 week challenge and I am so excited what I will have to report each week!

    Hi Karen.
I am so happy for you, not only that you lost weight, but that you did join the Wolf Spirits and continued with us! You put yourself out of your comfort zone and have done terrific! emoticon You are participating so well.
I do not know if you know this, but being a private team, only team members see any of our posts, including our weight. If you are the top X-Weighted weight Loss Leader for the week or entire challenge. All three X-Weighted Teams will know how many pounds you lost, but not your weight.
Thank you for letting us know how happy you are!

    emoticon Karen my friend,

I am so proud of you. You made me have a tear in my eye. I only wish that I had done better this week. You are now an inspiration for me to do better. I did 20 minutes on my treadmill yesterday. I am a bit sore today, but I will do it again today. Believe it or not, I feel stronger today. Lighter on my feet. You are so right about the support from the teams. All for one and one for all. I need to get moving in order to lose the 30 pounds for my goal in this challenge, I know we can do this !!!!!

I didn't get the big weight loss this week that you did, but I have enjoyed participating in the Spring Challenge and being apart of the Wolf Spirit Team also. The support has been awsome!!
