Day 10 and I'm still going strong

Hey all,
I'm still here on SP, tracking my nutrition, spinning the wheel and staying accountable. I'm still eating really well and losing weight. I've started doing pushups, squats and some other exercises and I'm feeling stronger already. Slow and steady right. I'm not ready to jump into Insanity or P90X yet. That'll come with time. Right now I'm focusing on nutrition and what I'm putting into my body. I've also been spending a lot of time learning about plant based nutrition and why the "Standard American Diet" doesn't work. I'm in Canada but we all eat the same crap. lol.

I took a few days off of blogging because frankly, I didn't have anything exciting to write about. I still don't but I wanted to keep a journal of my progress and my what I've been doing.

Sorry to disappoint with the short blog today. It's getting late and I'm getting ready for bed soon. On the topic, I've been off this week and I've taken the opportunity to retrain my brain to be able to sleep without alcohol and without any sleep aids. For some reason, I've gotten into my head that I can't just fall asleep normally so I've used some sort of crutch for a long time. Every night starting March 26th, I've gone to bed a very reasonable time and I've fallen asleep naturally. This is a big win for me. I am sleeping much deeper and I'm waking up naturally and feeling refreshed and awake. It feels fantastic. I plan to continue sleeping like this going forward. No booze and no pills.
