Relief... and frustration

So, I had my follow up appointment with the doctor after my ultrasound and she said that there are 3 cysts that could be causing me the pain, but there is no indication of cancer at this time. I am scheduled for my mammogram in July, so they will compare pictures again then to see if anything has changed, but just as a precaution... not because they suspect a problem or issue. Due diligence and all that. In the meantime, I still have the pain. I can’t take ibuprofen, due to the fact that I am on warfarin, and it is contraindicated, so I make do with Tylenol, but I have to be sparing with that due to another medication I am on... oy! My bursitis is also really bad right now. Bad enough that I have taken to sleeping in my recliner, because I am a side sleeper, and it hurts too much to sleep on my side (as in, if I try, I end up not sleeping at all)... but I have an appointment already set up to get a steroid injection on the 25th of this month... which is pretty much as soon as my insurance will approve of it. So, it is mostly good, or potentially okay news on the medical front... I am not letting the pain stop me from me walks and runs. I make sure that I wear the appropriate support garment for the one pain... and the other pain is in my shoulder, not my legs or back... sometimes it radiates, but for the most part if I don’t hold my shoulders too tense, or swing my arms much it’s okay...
My frustration is with the weather... it is April and today we are under a snow watch! Ack! It’s supposed to start around 8am and go until about 9 or 10pm... I know it is just one day... but I am so tired of snow and ice! Especially ice... I have managed not to fall yet this year, and I would like to keep that record intact! Add in some high winds and it should be an “interesting” day weather-wise. Bleh.
Oh well... tomorrow is another day!
