Okay! All caught up in my Strength Training Challenge! Woot! Week 4 is DONE!

So happy to have TAJONES along by myside! She's been a great fitness partner for motivation and accountability!

Ups and downs of feeling strong and weak, but overall feeling stronger. I feel it when I walk and with my overall energy level throughout the day.

And my stairs no longer seem to cross my mind, as in... when we first moved into this place last July, I could barely climb them without feeling I was going to die, due to the level of stress I was under and the impact that had on my overall health. Now, it's no different than simply walking and I am kicking their butt while doing moderate cardio during my strength training routine. Yay! That's a big step of progress! So happy. As there was a time I wasn't sure I could bounce back.

Also added extra Restorative Yoga with my girls. Really enjoying this and so are they. It's also helping me dust off my yoga teacher training skills and I think the extra yoga is really aiding in my recovery progress from the strength training challenge. It's exciting to see their excitement of progress in the quality and strength of their movements in just 3 days.

Oh... and I adjusted my spark people Starting Weight to reflect my starting weight at the beginning of the year, as that is truly the progress I have made, regardless of being here or not. So that feels good.

It now shows that I have lost 10 lbs since the beginning of the year. Not outstanding results, but I'll take it... lol!

This month, since joining spark has been up and down, I'm a bit obsessed with the scale, but as I mentioned before, I'm really interested in seeing the results of this new Keto Lifestyle and how it's affecting me. It's been one heck of a learning month, I think April will see more consistency and progress! So much that I'm challenging myself to lose 10 lbs this month. Doesn't fall into the 2 lbs per/week safe weight loss recommendations... but I think 2.5 lbs per/week is not outrageous neither. Maybe I'll lose more... lol!

Still have some tweaking to do, some food items to find, and some supplements to incorporate too, but all in good time... and money... lol.

But I really like the energy I am feeling with my current fitness and weight loss plan! Brain is thinking clearer too, I'm much more positive, and even enjoying my kids and my hubbies company a little more too. This is great! WOOT!

*******So overall... I lost 4.8 lbs, soooo 5 lbs in March and a total of 8 inches! It's been a good month... even if I had moments of self-doubt and uncertainty... lol.

emoticon Week 4 is done! Isn't it wonderful to look at the progress we are making! Your enthusiasm and determination sure do motivate me! I love reading your FitProgress blogs!

Today I found a Yoga dvd I bought with the intention of doing, but somehow I put it in the back of my closet, instead of in my dvd player. lol. Well, I did the morning yoga workout this morning. I am a little out of shape, but that is okay, because it leaves room for progress. After doing the workout, I greatly agree with you about the yoga aiding in the recovery progress from this challenge, so I adding it to my workout plan.

You are sounding more positive than even just a week ago. These changes that you are feeling are awesome. Clearer thinking, going upstairs without feeling strained, more positive with your loved ones -- all of these are fantastic. One thing my daughter noticed was her size got smaller before it reflected that much on the scale so keep that in mind, ok? You are doing fantastic. emoticon emoticon emoticon
