This is taking so long

The scales have stayed in the same place for a couple of months.

I'm not complaining. Hey, the numbers aren't going up!

Nonetheless, I am looking at what I can change up to get off this plateau and start things moving downward again.

Here's what I have concluded.

1. Be more consistent with exercise. Some weeks life overwhelms me, and I don't go for walks. I have asked my husband to check with me about walking.

2. Limit the "healthy fats." Yes, walnuts and avocados have healthy fats, but they also pack a lot of calories and fat into a few bites. I can enjoy them, but only once a day. I can't let myself grab a handful of walnuts between meals or whenever I want a quick bite.

It sounds like you have a realistic view of what works and doesn't work for you. emoticon

When I stall, it’s usually because I’ve gotten complacent with at least one of the basics. Planning, weighing, measuring and tracking. Thighten those up for a week and you will be smiling and at peace. Good catch on those nuts. And extra tablespoon of those can easily effect the numbers.

Remember..... it's not just about the scale. Have you checked your measurements? Monthly measurements can be an indicator also. Glad to hear you're not going up in weight (yay). Veggies and pop corn are great snacks. You can do this!!!!!!!
