Fitbit issues AGAIN

What is the lifespan on these things? 3 or 4 months? Geez. I just got a replacement around xmas time and now it's not synching again. I have to go out with my family today but when I come home I'll be calling customer service. My FitBit One syched Friday morning but it won't synch today. NOT happy!

I think I quit. I need a different brand or something. If it doesn't synch when I have better internet out somewhere today then I'm done. I'm tired of having to get replacements all the time and going a week without tracking etc.

    I still have a FitBit. They claim it can communicate with a Mac through bluetooth or the dongle, and neither worked for me, but I have access to a PC and I download from my FitBit through that. When this one dies, I'll be back in the market and probably will select a different brand that is more inclined to stand behind their product.

    My experience with FitBit is if I didn't have their newest model, they just told me "sorry, we don't support that anymore."

    Thank you everyone. I looked up the Charge 2 and I think I might get one eventually.

    I called customer support this afternoon. The first agent HUNG UP ON ME!! I immediately called back and needless to say I was not a happy customer. However the second agent hung in there with me and I rebooted the FitBit One and used my laptop and we were able to get it going again. He said that a hard restart is required periodically. I thought I had done that but evidently I hadn't really restarted it. So there we go. The One is still running.

    The downside is that they aren't going to give me a good deal on the Charge 2. Oh well. I may get one anyway. I'll def research them some more. They don't make the One anymore and I figure there's a reason for that.

    My brother gave me a pebble he bought a few years ago. They have sold out to Fitbit but if you can find a used one on amazon or somewhere, mine works great. Several of me friends & family have had lots of problems with the Fitbits. Good luck

    I’ve had my Charge 2 for almost 18 months and no issues. I’m not familiar with the One but highly recommend the Charge 2.
