I don't know if its because its getting closer to the time she had to be put to sleep but
i was thinking a fair bit about her. I still wonder if Annie misses her sister as they were close, but what was really odd was amongst other things, she acted like the Mother cat to all the others and kept them in line (according to how SHE felt about it of course). What was hard for me was that for the majority of her life she preferred the company of females - if I tried to pet her i would get swatted at (sometimes with claws) and at the very least a short angry meow which was odd for me as I never mistreated her and thought she was a particularly pretty cat.For whatever reason she seemed to mellow out about a year before she got sick and eventually allowed me to pet her and would occasionally sit beside me on the sofa,
She had a bad heart (I think its a risk for Maine Coons) and eventually died age6 as there was nothing they could do and she was suffering.
