How much sleep can I get?

I was supposed to read the Gospel today at church, but when I woke up, I felt terrible. My allergies were acting up, I was super anxious, and I was exhausted. I texted my pastor to let him know I wouldn't be at church. Even though I had coffee, I went back to bed and fell asleep right away.

I slept until noonish. I hadn't fed the dogs, so they were insisting I feed them. I fed them, got coffee, and thought I'd rest a minute in bed. I fell asleep and woke up at 5:30 pm.

I have been to the doctor and had bloodwork done. Maybe there's more bloodwork they can run. I don't know. Maybe I just need to be patient. I'm getting healthier. I eat more fruits and veggies. I'm not eating much processed food. Sigh. I wouldn't mind getting more tests, but I'm not made of money and I haven't met my deductible yet.

Maybe I'll give it a few more weeks and see how I feel.

    You are finally catching up on your much needed sleep. Take it when you can get it and don't feel bad about it. There is more blood work that needs to be done, so when feasible tell your doctor that you need answers. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, really! I'm not a dr., and I don't know about any allergies to drugs, but perhaps taking a benadryl pill before bed may help. You can check with your dr first. It's only a phone call, not an office visit. emoticon

    Healing happens while you're sleeping. Your body must have felt the need of more rest, more time to heal. Hope you feel better today. emoticon

    Try and stay positive. Not all problems can be detected with routine tests. Some chemical imbalances are harded to find if they're there. Be positive and don't stress. Stress and worry can really exhaust any energy you have. Things will get better.
