My hubby is home! Oh how I missed him. I started feeling tired and run down while he was gone, but yesterday when I knew he was on his way home, I felt so upbeat and full of energy! Lol, I find that so funny, but I'm glad to be feeling good again. I rode a hard course on my exercise bike yesterday too. I feel like I'm ready to start getting more serious about exercise. I've been walking everyday, even in the blistering cold, but I want to start pushing my body more. I guess I finally feel like I have the energy for it, and I actually feel excited about using my body and getting stronger! This way of eating is awesome, it gives me so much energy. My goal is to eventually start running once it's warm enough so the cold air doesn't trigger my exercise-induced asthma. The only time I have asthma attacks is when I exercise in the cold, which is annoying because in westen NY, it's cold literally 6 months out of the year. And I'm not a gym fan. I have an exercise bike though and I need to start using it more, especially because I love biking in the summer and that's a way to keep in shape in the winter. Yesterday was my carb night, and it was hard to actually get myself to eat the high carb foods. They really weren't that good. It was like, the flavors we're so strong and they didn't fill me at all. Carbs have always been like that with me, I could eat and eat and never feel full on carbs, but a good piece of meat satisfies me perfectly. Or a big salad with cheese and creamy dressing, mm! I do carb night to rev up my metabolism though so I push through. I try really hard not to eat any sugar on carb night because it's a terrible trigger for me and I don't want to let it lead to me going off this good way of eating. I mostly eat potatoes and corn and sometime bread, and fruit because I do miss fruit. I can see that I'm all wound up because I'm rambling a lot, so I think I'll go do something more productive with my life!
