100 Mile Challenge

I'm not letting an injured foot keep me from exercising! In January, I joined the 100 Mile Challenge sponsored by the Department of Recreation in my community. Apparently, they count 2,000 steps or 20 minutes of continuous activity as one mile so I can use chair exercise programs to meet my goals. The chair exercisesI like especially are called "Stronger Seniors" by Anne Pringle Burnell. There are sample workouts on her website. The workouts are excellent, too! By the way, I've already completed the challenge--and we've just finished Week 9. Each week, a motivating email is sent to those who joined the challenge, which is nice. In the last one, we were told that even if we reached 100 miles, to continue!
