This is our assignment for the Aspire and Inspire sparkteam: March 20th is the official first day of spring. What are your three favorite things about this time of year? What are you looking forward to doing differently with your fitness and/or nutrition choices in the spring?

My three favorite things about Spring are warmer weather, blooming flowers, and more daylight. This Spring I would like to change up my fitness routine by exercising outside more. Walking is my favorite exercise, and there are so many places to do it outside. There are good routes around my neighborhood, and last year I did that a lot. This year I would like to explore more places around town, especially the local parks. We have several city parks, plus a state park right outside town. Most of them I haven’t even been to, or I’ve only been to once. I know I would enjoy walking in the parks. I just need to get out there and go!
