Motivation Challenge Working!

I believe my former complaint of lacking motivation has changed for the better. I have been hitting my fitness goals, and daily steps. I have a little more energy.
My calorie intake has been much better too. Sweets are still a constant threat to me, however, I have managed to cut way back.
The best part is my Husband is on board with my weight loss journey! I never thought in a million years he would be there with me, working on himself along side me. However, men lose weight a lot faster, and he is down 12lbs in a week. I can't let him catch up!! We are both very competitive, so this is fun for me. He joined my Sweet Cravings challenge with me, and even allowed to keep sweets out of the house.
We changed the entire way we grocery shop to a way I dreamed of doing for years. With a husband who loved the worst things for him, and two kids following behind him. It was never easy bringing in sugar free (bad sugar) sweets. Nor did it help me ever having the sweets in the house, where I could easily slip.
Now our snacks are healthy snacks....fruit, veggies, pita chips, and nuts. All the dinners I cook are fresh, and free of processed foods. My husband is learning these healthier dinner choices are not as bad as they sound. Last night, I made spinach artichoke shredded chicken stuffed peppers, he loved it! Mind you, he claims to dislike spinach, artichokes, and peppers.
So things are still looking up for the best, and my motivation is where it need to be. I hope this stays steady.
