I made a comment that I wanted to lose 20 more pounds before we leave for the beach in May. I thought to myself, "I can certainly lose about 5 or 10 in February and lose the rest in March and maybe hit 30 or 40 more by the time we leave!"

emoticon WRONG.

We went on a 4 day trip to Galtinburg, TN with our friends and I managed to gain about 10 pounds while we were gone. I know, you think that is outrageous but that is a totally normal gain for me. I drink a lot during the day and with a 9 hour truck ride, I was unable to get my water in. I knew I would gain, but I didn't think it would take me over a month to lost that 10 pounds! UGH!

This morning I am back at the weight I was on the morning we left and it's taken me almost 5 weeks to lose it. I am glad it's gone and don't want to see it again. I have started walking again, incorporating planks and started strength exercises in my arms. I feel great and I am no longer able to wear my 'skinny' jeans as they are too big. So my weight is shifting, I just haven't been losing it.

I am determined to lose this weight. I can and WILL do it dammit.
