Beck Diet Solution Day 20

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Well, I am still here. The thing that stands out to me this morning is "I ate to normal fullness"in the daily to-do list. - Will someone please define normal? Perhaps because it has been one of the things to learn a couple days ago and it is finally sinking in.

What is normal fullness? I have a tendency to eat until I feel my stomach has stretched a bit beyond what should be considered I ate enough. This is definitely something I need to retrain my brain in what should be "normal". But then, normal is subjective and can mean different things to different people.

Also, I have decided that my first "diet" choice is not going to give me enough calories for my activity so on to plan B. But, really, my goal is to just eat whole food plant based choices and to stop eating so much junk. I get way to many calories from eating overly processed foods.

Tracking my meals in chron-o-meter shows me that even when I am eating the way I ought to be I am still eating too much fat. Somewhere I need to make a switch in what I am eating, for instance, instead of peanut butter toast, I ought to grab an apple. That will give me a feeling of fullness without the extra calories from fat. (Hey, I might be on my way to redefining 'normal' feeling of fullness).
