This Time I Think I Can Tell
Monday, March 19, 2018
I'm packing and planning and this time I don't think hubby will care if I tell my SparkFriends because he is staying home. I'm going to Arizona to visit my 90 year old mom and my sister who lives just a few steps from her in a lovely retirement community. The grandkids here are going to the YMCA camp for spring break week so this is a good time for me to go see mom. Hoping to do good eating and get plenty of exercise. I know she sleeps a lot so I'll have time to go to one of the 3 gym rooms in the community. And there are good places to run there, too. I'm sure we'll eat out some, but hope she'll let me cook some, too.
In response to the question yesterday about petticoats, local square dancer woman wear one of 2 styles. What I had on yesterday is longer, called "Prairie Style" and does not require the crinolines. I also have one other square dance outfit that is shorter with the stiff puffy undergarment that I bought at a consignment shop. I haven't worn it yet. I really think I'm more of a prairie style person, but perhaps I should try it before I knock it. I bought the short one before I knew there was a prairie style.
I really backed off of Beck right at the crucial time where the participant starts "dieting" and pre-planning meals. I'm debating whether to delay until after my trip when life is more predictable or pick up on it now and get back on track. Haven't decided. Weight was 134.6 this morning, 2.6 over top of the range. I am tracking on SP. Good light breakfast eaten. I'll only have kids 3-4:30pm today, after school until their gymnastics lesson. I can use the elliptical or treadmill at the Y after I drop them off at their class. Sounds like a plan.
Wishing you a great day!
