The geese are flying north-is this Spring?

Friday, March 16, 2018

Silly geese are trying to get back north but circle
around most nights to find a good place to feed
and rest. With the current weather situation, I am
wondering if their "radar" is a bit off. We will have
ice, sleet and snow today and then a slight warming
trend and do it all over again on Monday. No wonder
they are confused.
DH is also confused. The night before he was sleeping
in his recliner and wanted to walk to the bathroom for
a drink of water. He fell in the hallway again. Thankfully
he did not hit his head. It took me a few minutes to get
him to respond and talk to me and then it was nonsense.
He blanked out at least 3 times but I was finally able to
get him sitting in a chair, rest a little, and then into bed.
The whole incident took 30 minutes but he insisted no
chest pain, no pain anywhere, nothing. When I asked
him about it yesterday morning, he said he didn't remember
a thing. Not surprised by that either. Not sure it is safe
to leave him alone this weekend but I am babysitting
the Irene grands while DD and SIL fly out for a company
trip. I have enlisted DD in town to check on him so that
he doesn't end up on the floor again. Never ending drama.
I'm off to work now but have a wonderful St Patrick's Day
weekend and thanks for stopping by. HUGS!

Keeping you and yours in thoughts and prayers while your DH is (manly) staying on his own over the weekend. I know you've got the training when you're there, but when you're not... thankfully, the faith and family to check in on him!

Om sorry to hear, about this , he should probably be evaluated, not uncommon for us older folks to get mini strokes.

Oh my so sorry to hear this,he really does need to be evaluated!
Sounds like he may not be getting enough oxygen to his brain.
Glad your DD is checking on him! emoticon

So frightening for you to have your DH fall so much with confusion too. I hope he improves soon. Take care of you as well. Be safe in the icy weather as well. Enjoy the grands!

Sorry things are not going well for DH. I do hope you are keeping track of these incidents and will be able to accompany him on his dr visit and if this continues, it might warrant a call to the dr. I know he isn't a fan of your "tattling" but sometimes a wife has to do what she must!! My DH long ago gave up trying to get anything past me or the dr!! He occasionally manages a small bit but it usually comes up. I am lucky our family dr will let me text him if I have a real concern.

I'm glad your DD will be checking on him. Maybe it's time for a Life Alert bracelet or something along those lines. I got one for my Mom years ago.

That's pretty scary stuff! I'm wondering why you didn't take him to see his provider? I can imagine how anxious you are about it! I don't remember how far away Irene is for you, but glad daughter is close.Yikes!

OH my goodness. Sounds like he should be checked out by his Dr. BUT it's good you're having your in-town DD check on him.
