Doctors scales my scale...ugh

Thursday, March 08, 2018

okay my scale as of 3/8/2018 says 240.8, Doctor scales says 245.....So 21 more pounds on my scale until I qualify for hip surgery but 26 more pounds to qualify by the Doctors scale...KILLING ME....I am losing on average. 1 - 2 pounds a week...so that puts me into June/July for surgery....and my pain is horrific, so exercise is not an option for helping with the weight loss...Still I remain positive...Just noting this for my own info.

Chronic pain is hard to deal with. It's easy to have it bring you down and make you lose faith. I hope you're instead able to use it to motivate yourself to stick to your plan so you can have your surgery as soon as possible. One day at a time, and you will get there. -- And maybe adjust your scale so it matches your doctor's. emoticon

Yup, my doctors scale was 5# higher than mine. I feel like they do that on purpose. Not really, but kind of. Sorry that means an even further delay and more pain.

I am also annoyed with the differences in scales. I have three different scales and all three give me a different weight - and none of them match the doctors scale either. It’s very frustrating.
