03/08/2018 Where I’m At Today

Thursday, March 08, 2018

Today is a good day. Seen MY doctor today and all my numbers were great. He even said that I am not diabetic anymore. That statement frustrates me because I know that the disease is still asleep inside of me. If my mind believes I am no longer diabetic it will talk me into making foolish decisions.

In six days it will be my one-year anniversary on Spark People and I am dedicated to be on it many more years. I am meditating on new goals to attempt and raise the bar for myself.

I need to stay dedicated to the program because I know I could backslide at any time.

Thank-you for all the feedback and support from everyone.

Congratulations Bill and keep up the good work! emoticon

emoticon I returned in late 2013 after a false start in 2010 and have been actively engaged for 4 years. It has made a huge difference for me.

    Happy emoticon in advance.

I hear the same thing from my Dr. but I flat out told her -- it's CONTROLLED, but if I don't do the work it will come back! So, I totally agree w/you. Keep on doing your work.

    Happy sparkversary early!

I've been a SparkPeople member for 10 years now. I'd hate to think where I'd be had I not stayed with it. emoticon

So glad you had good results. I understand about wanting to stay on track. One day at a time.
