So, y'know how I was banging on about my fiancé in my last entry and how he talks a big game but hasn't walked it? Welp, here's me eating my words and hoping they aren't bad for me in the long run. *lol* He has suddenly got the bug to move and is in day three of working out in the basement. I have joined him for two of these days and ungh, the front of my thighs CAN NOT EVEN with me right now.

He's really into circuit training and heart rates and facts and figures... so he's been doing his research and comparing it to what he used to do in the military and is trying to come up with the best way to drop 20 pounds before our wedding. I'm going for 25.

Him: *Mansplains fitness and how weight loss works*
Me: You talk as though I haven't been on SP for the last 8 years... but I still love you. ;)

He's like me; he's excited to learn things and wants to share it... but he hasn't said anything I haven't read here in the time I've been here. Hmm, if he were more of a people person I'd tell him to create an account here.

Anyway... while I go shop for free weights, a stationary bike, and a few more sets of interlocking floor mats, he's going to draw up some workouts for us to do together, and I've got "permission" to go biking or hiking when our schedules don't mesh and I'll be working out by myself. *LOL* Seriously, he's adorable.

Anyway, I showed him the pants I have hanging in our... huh, I'm not sure what to call it. It's like a vestibule to our master bathroom. There's a doorless closet to one side, and I've hung a belt rack on the opposite wall, and you walk through this area and take one step down into our bathroom. Anyway, our scale is there as well. I've got a pair of jeans hanging on the wall that I wore at 160 and can't even begin to fasten at 188. I showed them to him and said, "Those are my goal. To get back into these, to fasten them, and then drop into a squat."
"Alright, we will get you into those pants."

I love his enthusiasm.

Anyway... today was Dad's birthday. I spent my day avoiding my feels by hanging things on my walls, putting together a table, sewing some tablecloths, setting up my table fountain, laundry, and making my vitamin baggies which are now in a jar in my kitchen in the cabinet above the microwave so I can grab and go and have no excuses. :) Baby steps!
