Oh, No! My flip-flopping soul!

Hubby and I went to a Senior luncheon yesterday. We both wore boots -- cowgirl, cowboy. I hadn't worn them very much since I had trouble with any kind of a heel when my knees were being awful, These boots had a small heel, but not flat. It was a luncheon at a church and other churches were invited. We saw so many people we knew and had great fellowship.
Suddenly, my left boot sole (soul, LOL) was flip-flopping and it was difficult to walk.
A flipping soul(sole) can be dangerous (mmmmmm) and it was going to cause me to have problems. I went to the lady in charge and asked her if she knew where I could get a rubber band. God Bless her. She was the church secretary and took a rubber band off a file and helped me wrap it around my boot.
I told my daughter later and said there was a sermon in that. "What to do with a flip-flopping soul." Love is the bond of perfectness that holds us together! Mmm . . .
On another note, I did not overeat at the luncheon. I had a serving of beef vegetable soup, some saltine crackers, coffee and one piece of pineapple cake. Woo Hoo!
Woke up with headache this AM and am still having some trouble with it. I think it is coming from my neck.
Hope everyone is staying safe and digging out -- those who are seeing this snow.!
Have a great night and
