Balance is a Great Idea

Ok, I don't know about you guys, but balance is not my best thing. I tend to be obsessive, and it's something I have to work on. I am trying to find that happy medium, where I don't feel guilt when I take a rest day, but I also don't sit too much during the work week.
The fitness band I wear helps remind me to get up if I'm idle too long (thank you for the beep!) and adding a half hour walk at lunch is also helping. I feel better during the week with the morning walk and noon walk. But weekends, oh boy. I do kind of okay most Saturdays, but Sunday I find myself wanting to be a complete and utter bum. Sometimes, I actually do need that, because I'm currently working two jobs, and I'm tired, but sometimes, too, I need to move more than 2000 steps for that day!!
Balance is a good thing not just in fitness. I'm getting better about balancing work and healthy relationships and family too. Usually, lol. Some days of course I am not great at it, but it's a progress not perfection thing.
My weekend plan is to spend some time with some of Sami's friends babies, and play and laugh and be an "additional grandma". What are you guys weekend plan for balance?
