Back on February 15th I blogged :
"Yesterday they dropped a HUGE bomb on us. FSNO will be closing at the end of April. There will no longer be an agency PERIOD!!! I am floored to say the least."
A quick update:
Our local ADAMH's Board did purchase our building. For now we are still not quite sure what that will mean. We do not know if they will keep our services there or what they have prepared for the building itself. It is licensed as a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Facility. We do know whatever goes there has to match those qualifications.
Now....on to my job:
I have been assured they will be keeping the Information & Referral portion (crisis lines[this is what I do]) and they will be continuing with our mental health assessment that either help a person return home back into the community or being placed in a hospital for help.
What I do know:
I have a job interview on 3/15/18 around 4:30pm for my job that I have currently had for 27 years and 4 months.

I have polished up my resume, I have acquired 4 outstanding references to back me up an I know I'm ready for this next step. The position will be with a Renewed Mind providing the same services I have been doing.
