2018 Roadshow Concert, Veggies, and Chocolate Gifts
Tuesday, February 27, 2018
For Valentine's Day I received a lot of gifts which I am grateful for. Since Valentine's was also the first day of Lent, besides the fact that I don't eat processed sugar treats like candy, I have been giving away the boxes of chocolate and such. (I hope I don't sound ungrateful but I do let it be known often that I don't eat sweets. I get them as gifts anyway. Fortunately, I have people and organizations I can pass them on to.)
Today I cut up a bunch of veggies, all from the food rescue except the onions and asparagus. I came home with green and yellow bell peppers, red, yellow, and orange mini peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, yellow squash, plum and on the vine tomatoes, and red peppers that are hot! I use them sparingly. The asparagus was only 77 cents a bunch and I always have onions on hand. I cut up a tomato on a vine and cooked egg whites with a slice of Swiss cheese.
I need to get back to going to the Weight Watcher's meetings regularly!!! And now that I am finally feeling better, I need to get back to regular exercise. This is my week to get my focus back!
I took photos from the 2018 Roadshow concert with Matthew West, For King and Country, Natalie Grant, and Zach Williams. It was a phenomenol concert. I had really good seats. Front row. I wear earplugs! I am having a problem with my phone, being able to send photos to my tablet. I need to get over to the Apple Store. I'm sure it's something I've done! 😁 They can help me get it straightened out and then I can post the photos.
If you don't listen to a Christian music radio station in your area I highly recommend it. If you don't have Christian music station, google klove videos and you can listen online. The songs are very uplifting.
