Monday Madness

Monday, February 26, 2018

Mondays are insane always, almost like taking off for the weekend means the work snuck in and piled up on my desk. lol Might as well laugh about it! For me it also means a return to my indoor "track", of the hallways I have walked enough now to know what to do to increase my daily steps.
I took a mini-break over the weekend and rested more than I usually do, mainly because my allergies have been trying to murder me and I was just exhausted. Also, today I have to make up for that break by cleaning my friend's house in his Airbnb after 7 people stayed there. Sigh. Trying to remember why the heck I agreed to do this.
Also, gratitude. Man, I am grateful I had time alone with my kid this weekend. Time to just chill and be present with her. That is always a good thing, even if she's grumpy. Gratitude for peace. Gratitude for a warm house. Gratitude for cuddly kitties that let me pet them and love on them. Gratitude for a sponsor who understands when I just need a day to chill. And gratitude I got my floors cleaned up the way I like them on Saturday so Sunday I could be a bum!!
Hope you all had a great weekend and are cheerfully on our way into the week!

Wow, if that is resting over the weekend than you must be really busy every other day. I was a bit of a lazy girl this weekend but I did get caught up on some reading. One of these days soon I need to tackle my house cleaning. Being retired lends you more time to get things done, but it seems there are always better things to do!
