Right knee.

Sunday, February 25, 2018

I know I haven't posted in a long while. I have been very sick and know I am in a lot of pain with my right knee. Three years ago I had right knee replacement on my right knee. I went to see my pain doctor and he said that he thought it was my knee that was the problem. He prescribed a patch for me to us but we have been for the insurance to approve it. I have never had a patch so I don't know that kind of medicine it is. My orthopedist is sending me to get a cat scan. I am at the point where I can't hardly walk.

I am so sorry you are in such horrible pain. My aunt had a bad knee, then had knee replacement surgery but the pain got worse. She finally had to have the surgery re-done, as the first one had infected. It took her 2 sisters and another family member to finally get her to try getting a 2nd opinion from another doctor. The 2nd Dr redid the knee surgery and her pain was greatly improved. She is now moving around well on her knee. I don't know if this is anything like your experience. I do know there are great pain patches that you wear on your skin for several days for pain relief. There are also patches that provide some local numbing to small areas on the body. Maybe one of these is what you are going to hopefully get.
Here's hoping you feel better quickly! Thanks for posting to update your SparkFriends! emoticon
