One At A Time

Friday, February 23, 2018

Sometimes life can be a little overwhelming. This has happened to me a few times and that's when I learned this lesson. Seems I am in that position once again. My Mother's health has been a real concern lately.

Since a fall in December when she broke her hip her health has been in decline. Mom has Alzheimer's and has now basically quit eating. She is only taking a little nourishment by drinking a few ounces a day of protein drinks.

My sisters and I have been able to "fix things" for Mom since Dad died but find that no matter how hard we've tried we are unable to fix things this time.

We have to take things one day at the time right now.

OH, I'm so sorry that things are like this for you now. It's a rough situation.
And you're right, there's only one day at a time.

It's so hard to watch family without being able to 'do'. She's so lucky to have you and your sisters supporting regardless.
