The Small Things are Adding Up to Make Bigger Changes

It's about conquering the distance, not beating the clock... my downfall has been wanting results and wanting them NOW!!! I honestly have not stuck to losing weight because I didn't FEEL FAT. I've always been athletic and even though my BP has pushed the upper limits, my MD says I'm in obese mode, I'm borderline diabetic and have high cholesterol it never clicked. Never until the other day when a car passed me as I was bike riding and the woman gave me a pronounced 'thumbs up', you know the gesture you think in your mind when you see a very large person exercising. She gave it to ME! Then the same week I went to see my new Grandson and my DIL texted me pics of myself on floor. I was aghast. I felt like turning on my entire family "Why didn't you tell me I looked like this?" My sweet husband said "the camera adds ten pounds"...HA HA, it didn't add them to him though. Well, soul searching and prayer are leading me to daily motivation to 'Be the Best Human I Can Be' for myself, my family, my neighborhood, my World. That Best Me is healthier today, Now.
