Moving page information to blog

I'm redoing my page so I moved the page information to a blog entry.

I am a long time member of SparkPeople, but I don't have great results so far. I'm sure that SparkPeople works, but my results have been hampered by physical challenges and low motivation.

I have changed my focus. By focusing on a smaller goal I saw some success. Instead of looking at all the weight I wanted to shed, I focused on getting rid of 5%. I'm now down 6%. I reset the goal. I want to get rid of more weight so that the total gone is 10%.

    Good for you! Like you, I had to take my focus off the weight as I kept getting frustrated when the scale didn't move. Instead I focused on things I COULD control (Yes, I CAN eat another serving of veggies today! Yes, I CAN exercise 10 minutes more than last week!). By focusing on things I COULD control, eventually the scale cooperated, too. Hang in there and keep experimenting with what works for YOU!
