Things that totally break my heart

Tuesday, February 13, 2018

I love reading through the Community Feed on this site. People are so encouraging, funny, and so many smart suggestions! But I struggle with how to respond to posts where people are beating themselves up for how they've acted or eaten. We all need a little compassion for ourselves, and some serious self-love to make it to a healthier lifestyle. I've been down the self-hatred path before and I hate watching someone else do the same. :-/

It is tough and also, very disheartening. The negativity can rub off on me. And you can’t save everyone.

We all get discouraged at times and need to get it out to feel better. I'm guessing, for some, it is like purging the bad to make room for better things.

I agree. I'm not a better person if I'm thinner, it's just healthier for me. I try not to best myself up, but get back to positive motivation.

We have to remember that nobody's perfect. Life is too short to be so hard on yourself.
